Why you want more than just a writer.

Writing, for those born to do it, is easy.

What grants distinction, however, is a love for creativity. That is, creativity in all forms - not simply the written word. A writer who has a passion for photography, for example, has a way of seeing the world differently.

He may simply be walking along a path on a misty day, with his camera, looking for interesting opportunities. For photographs.

Lying on the street is a pine cone, surrounded by a purple of Jacarandas. Leaning down, he angles his shot. Captures a decaying moment in time. For most people, it meant nothing. For him, it will never be forgotten.

Writing is about capturing beauty. Even in the simplest advertising copy.

It's the way the words are wrought.

It's how they string together in a way that sings.
