Space-Time Shenanigans.

Time travel can cause all sorts of problems. Including plot holes.
It appears there was another on of those pesky space-time continuum incidents.
This time, our Head Writer Anton Friedman came from a dark, dystopian future to kidnap his present self. His demand? That they bring Firefly back.
Firefly was a fan-favourite TV show for a lot of sci-fi nerds and not-so-nerds because of its witty script-writing, outstanding acting, Western motif, and a man named Jane.
Taking yourself literally hostage is a fairly extreme way to get what you want, though. But we weren't going to risk breaking the "Grandfather Paradox". Which simply put means, if you come back in time and kill the person who allows you to be born, you aren't able to come back in time to kill that person... paradoxes are annoying that way.
But not knowing what it would mean for the universe, we took no chances. And wrote a very desperate letter to network executives in the States. It may or may not have worked, and the show may or may not return... but our future friend went back... er... forward... from where he came.
Still. A very tense (and surreal) day at the office. I was half convinced someone spiked the coffee with a certain strain of mushroom. Maybe Thanos.
